Cash Management

Taupo Moana Funds (TMF) operates a wholesale cash management service specifically to manage short-term funds on behalf of our client investors. The cash management service provides a funds management service similar to having an account with a bank and holding term deposits.

However, through the TMF cash management service TMF clients have access to wholesale interest rates and investment securities available only to institutional and professional investors. These investment securities include Bank Certificates of Deposit (RCDs), Corporate CP, Local Authority stock and Treasury Bills. The service also offers call investments at the Official Cash Rate (OCR) which is the inter-bank rate.

TMF invests only in money market items that have an ‘A2’ credit rating or better.

TMF offers a flat fee of 0.30% for investing through the TMF cash fund.
